Accompaniment
A personal note from Mr. Horowitz: To concentrate my energies on teaching and running the
studio, and on my young baby, I am no longer accepting accompanying work from new
clients/contacts. I will continue to take work from previous clients on a space-available basis, and
my associate teacher Aphrodite Mitsopoulou also does accompanying work, so I continue to
welcome your inquiries.
Professional piano accompaniment is offered for instrumentalists and vocalists of all ages and level.
Mr. Horowitz has experience in a wide variety of accompanying situations: studio recitals and events,
choirs, musicals, ballet classes, audio recordings, competitions and festivals, and university degree
recitals.
The usual rate is $50 per hour, including travel, if required. Time is rounded up by the half hour.
The minimum charge for any job is $50. Rates are subject to change. Special rates are available for
Solo and Ensemble festival and similar events which attract large numbers of participants.
