Who Provides the Piano?
It is the responsibility of the client to provide an instrument, in good working order, at the
job site.  Either uprights or grand pianos are fine; the important thing is that all keys and
pedals are working and reasonably in tune.  Mr. Horowitz will have the final say as to the
interpretation of the phrase "in good working order," but rest assured that if your piano has
been tuned within the last year and if all the keys and damper (right) pedal are functioning
properly, it is highly unlikely there will be a problem.  Digital keyboards are not suitable for
solo performances, but may be acceptable in certain accompanying situations.
