2008 Summer Composition Contest

The assignment: make up an original composition about something that happened during

The judging criteria: technical merit is not a primary factor.  Compositions will be judged on
the degree to which the sound of the piece is specifically descriptive of the title.

The winner: Nathan Hughes, for his piece "River Ripple Waltz"
The runner-up: Keira Moran, for her piece "New York City"
